Actress Kristen Stewart has captured the media's attention by wearing colorful Balenciaga pants at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday.

The "Snow White & The Huntsman" star became the face of the design label in January and has been spotted in many Balenciaga outfits recently, but none as captivating at the floral number this week.

Promoting her new movie "On The Road," the first-ever film adaptation of Jack Kerouac's classic 1957 novel, Stewart posed on the carpet at the annual film festival. The 22-year-actress donned bright yellow pants with multicolored floral designs and ankle zippers, paired with simple black pumps.

A fashion icon, fans of the "Twilight" star expressed mixed reactions to Stewart's pants via Twitter this week, with "Kristen's Stewart's Pants" becoming a trending topic on Yahoo.

"Do you think Kristen Stewart's pants look like a Betty Crocker confetti cake," asked 4TNZ.

Fashion Group posted, "Love these print @Balenciaga pants on #KristenStewart at the Cannes Film Festival."

Siti wrote, "Looks good on her," while Kelly wrote, "Kristen Stewart's pants are DIVINE!"

Emilio joked about the pant's print, writing, "You got bad reception in your pants, Kristen Stewart. Try moving a stretching out your arms to boost the signal."

Stewart's film "On The Road" will premiere at Cannes, but does not have a U.S. distributor yet. Describing her role as Marylou in the film about the beat generation, the actress said she "pushed herself" hard in order to become the sexy, adventurous character.

"I wanted to do it," said the actress during a news conference about the film. "I love pushing. I love scaring myself."

Stewart's "Snow White & The Huntsman" will hit theaters June 1.
