Kristen Stewart will feature in the sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman, according to new reports out this weekend. The decision will shock fans who were left angry after the actress had an affair with the film's director, Rupert Sanders, leading to a brief split with long-term boyfriend, Robert Pattinson.

Following the summer scandal of Stewart's affair most had thought it highly unlikely that should would be returning for a sequel to the popular original movie. However, since the revelation of her affair, Pattinson and Stewart have reconciled, and it now appears they have gotten back together confident enough to allow her to take part in the second movie.

Stewart has spoken excitedly about the sequel to Indiewire, saying: "Oh, it's gonna be ******* amazing."

She added, "No, I'm so excited about it, it's crazy."

However, she refused to reveal any further details explaining that she had been told she had to keep details of the sequel top secret.

"I'm not allowed [to reveal details]. The other day I said that there was a strong possibility that we're going to make a sequel, and that's very true, but everyone was like, 'Whoa, stop talking about it. So no, I'm totally not allowed to talk about it," Stewart explained.

However, she did hint that she thought the new plot ideas for the movie were amazing, and in particular the character developments for her Snow White character would excite and please fans.

Interestingly, what has not yet been confirmed is whether Rupert Sanders, the director from the original film, and who Stewart had an affair with, will be returning as director or whether he will be replaced for the sequel.
