Kylie Jenner News: Reality Star Graces Met Gala in Balmain Dress
Following the fashion statement week that put Kylie Jenner in headlines during Coachella, the youngest Jenner star graced the Met Gala in New York City in a lavishly embellished Balmain dress that took the attention of the press.
According to E! News, Jenner not only dressed up in Balmain's nude illusion floor-length dress but she also rocked a chin-length bob cut that added more grace to her strut at the red carpet. As for accessories, she opted for Lorraine Schwartz's jewels, to match those of her clan's jewelry collection.
The family's momager, Kris Jenner, told the outlet that her daughter was feeling "nervous" about her debut and expressed her concerns to her mother before the event kicked off. "She goes, 'Mom, the dress is tight. How am I supposed to get up the stairs?'" Kris said. In the end, the rising star was able to get across the red carpet and gave cameras a good view of her outfit.

Mirror further reports that Jenner's sister, Kendall, didn't allow anybody to outshine her as she also wore a floor-length dress that made a statement on fashion's biggest night. While also a Balmain fan, Kendall opted for a cut-out Versace gown that made her look stunning as she strutted with her hair pulled into a ponytail.
Before Jenner made her big debut on Monday's event, she had a busy weekend as she got two new tattoos. According to Cosmopolitan, the 18-year-old TV personality got inked with her grandmother, Mary Jo Shannon's name. The new tat was plastered on her inner arm and it is speculated that the red tattoo was her grandmother's signature.
The second ink appeared to be the a scribbled letter "M," which was placed on inside her pinky. The same "M" matches that of her friend, Jordan Woods, who also had the symbol inked on her pinky.
Jenner is the youngest sister of reality stars Kim Kardashian West, Khloé Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, and is also the youngest daughter of Kris and Caitlyn Jenner.
