Kylie Jenner Upset With Dating Reports

Kylie Jenner is upset with some rumors that her mother has advised her to date people who will make her more famous.

Jenner, the 16-year-old "Keeping Up With The Kardashians" star, has been rumored to be dating Jaden Smith, the 15-year-old actor and son to Will Smith. However HollywoodLife.com recently reported that sources close to the family told the publication that Jenner's mother said, "anyone that is about to date them must provide something more than just compatibility emotionally."

The reports seemed to have upset Jenner who took to her Twitter account to lash out.

"The fact that some people actually believe I would waste my time dating someone as a publicity stunt," Kylie tweeted.

While Jenner insisted that she is not officially dating Smith, US Weekly reported that they were holding hands at the American Music Awards last November.

Jenner previously revealed her feelings for Smith on his birthday last July.

"Although we can't remember exactly when we met, I couldn't be more grateful that we did. You understand me like not many do & you always know the right time to make me laugh," Jenner wrote in the Instagram message. "And no, you haven't failed once to catch me when I attempt to walk or open the door on my every entrance. Happy birthday to my best friend."

Smith previously revealed that he and Jenner were best friends in Wonderland Magazine earlier this year.

"She's one of my best friends. It's pretty awesome," Smith told the publication.

Jenner previously explained why she thought Smith would make a good prom date, even if he is not her boyfriend.

"I know I'd have fun with him – he makes me laugh and he is a great dancer," she told Seventeen magazine last year.
