LA Lakers NBA Rumors, News 2014: Team Checks Out Suns' Goran Dragic or Eric Bledsoe

With the 2014-2015 NBA season already coming within the next month, it looks like LA Lakers are still looking for players before they officially enter the game season.

The Los Angeles Lakers is eyeing either the Suns' Goran Dragic or Eric Bledsoe for the next summer.

The two names mentioned could be "tremendous free agent acquisitions" with Dragic being a more of a "cerebral point guard" and Bledsoe a "capable shooter behind the arc," according to Marc Stein of ESPN.

The 28-year-old Dragic could be one of the latest addition in the lineup of elite point guards like Kevin Johnson, Jason Kidd, and Steve Nash, who like him, have come from what they call the "point guard school" of Phoenix Suns.

"He executes half-court sets well, pushes in transition, and is a very capable passer and shooter," according to Lake Show Life.

Meanwhile, the younger Bledsoe may not be that polished as the former but is, as previously mentioned, a very capable shooter and is exceptionally adept in other aspects including speed and agility.

Other free agent names that are, at least rumored, to be bound in LA is Miami Heat's Michael Beasley. In a report by Latin Post, they indicated that though Beasley couldn't actually be the next Tim Duncan or Karl Malone for the Lakers, he still can provide points and rebounds.

With a shooting career record of 75.8 percent from the line over six seasons, the 25-year-old forward could prove himself to be a game changer.

Performance aside, the publication also pointed out the cons of hiring the free agent. The fact that he's been traded to multiple teams -- from the Heat to Timberwolves to the Suns and back to Heat -- in just seven seasons of his playing career in the league proved to be "not a very good sign."

Other issues include his off court problems with possession of illegal drugs which caused him trouble back in 2008. They also specified his drastic decrease of playing time which isn't good either.
