Lady Gaga recently became the first person to ever accumulate 20 million Twitter followers and is now ready to have a baby.

Gaga, a 25-year-old international superstar, recently surpassed other big names in entertainment with a large number of Twitter followers like Justin Bieber with 18 million, Katy Perry who has 15.7 million and Shakira who has 14.5 million. The "Born This Way" singer, who said she updates her own Twitter account, also has a large fanbase showing support on Facebook with 48 million fans and 800,000 "circles" on Google +.

Gaga's social media presence does not end there. The singer said she would launch a network of her own called "Little Monsters" and engage in a social gaming opportunity with the Zynga company for a Farmville-like venture called GagaVille.

Stewart Townsend, a member of the Twitter marketing and analysis firm Datasift, said Gaga is the ultimate example of how to use social media efficiently.

"She's active, she participates, she listens, she engages," Townsend told the BBC. "A lot of brands or agencies are just in listening mode – and don't react."

Despite her successes in the world of social media, Gaga still feels she is missing something – a baby. A source close to Gaga told the Daily Star that she and boyfriend, 30-year-old "Vampire Diaries" actor Taylor Kinney, may be discussing children in the near future.

However, the unconventional singer reportedly wants to put having a baby above anything else.

"She wants everything with him – love, marriage and a family. But she's set on becoming a mother before they think about anything else and she's talking about giving birth in the next year," the source told the publication. "Both families are happy and she's already doodling baby names on scraps of paper. She's been bragging about how beautiful their children will be because Taylor is so handsome."
