In July, a woman identified as Jennifer Richardson claimed to have engaged in an extramarital affair with Odom. Weeks later Polina Polonsky, who is a criminal defense attorney, made similar claims which prompted Kardashian, 29, to initiate her separation from Odom.

"He's ashamed of himself and feels like he's let a lot of people down. I don't know that many women with the strength to go through all this and in public," the source explained.. "She's true to him and he knows that deep down."

On Monday reports suggested that the former Los Angeles Clippers star was suffering from addiction problems and that he was rejecting pleas made by Kardashian and her family for him get professional help. During Wednesday's reunion the father of two was reportedly more open to the possibility of rehab, however it is unclear whether there is any truth to these reports.

"Lamar is open to reason and listening to the people who love him the most," a source told TMZ.com.

Kardashian and Odom are yet to publicly address ongoing reports of a divorce.
