Lauren Conrad has paid a whopping price for an impressive mansion tucked into one of Los Angeles' most affluent districts this week.
The former MTV "The Hills" star splashed a cool $3.74 million on her new home in Brentwood, according to TMZ.
Conrad's new 4,300 square-foot home boasts five bedrooms and six bathrooms in addition to a remodeled kitchen and an expansive backyard complete with a basketball court, reported the gossip website.
Moreover, Bravo's "Flipping Out" star Jeff Lewis was behind decorating the 2-story home's interior.
Among other notable residents of Brentwood are Tom Brady and his wife Gisele Bundchen, Ben Affleck and wife Jennifer Garner, and Arnold Schwarzenegger, among many others.
Native to California, 27-year-old Conrad is best known for starring on MTV's "Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County" and later "The Hills," but she has also made a career in fashion. LC Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown fashion lines are both owned by Conrad.
The blogger and fashion designer has also written several books including "L.A. Candy" and "The Fame Game" trilogies.
While Conrad has not posted about her real estate purchase, the fashion mogul does frequently update her fans on Twitter. The stylish star often shares fashion advice on the micro blogging site.
"Headed to Coachella? Check out my 5 tips for melt-free make-up," Conrad posted last week.
Furthermore, Conrad often blogs as a guest editor of E! News' "The Trend." There, the star noted her quest to find fashions that were both flattering and eco-friendly.
"With Earth Day coming up next week, I've rounded up 5 sustainable fashion and beauty products," Conrad wrote. "These eco-chic picks will have you looking your best and getting a few good karma points all the same time."
