'Law and Order: SVU' Spoilers, Updates and Air Date: NBC's TV Show Has Come Under Strict Scrutiny Because of a Trump-Inspired Episode to be Aired Two Weeks Before Election

Law and Order: SUV's latest episode inspired by Donald Trump centering on his latest debacles and allegations.

While NBC's "Law and Order: SVU" has been known for its episodes based on real people and events, the series' latest installment of its current season, to be aired on October 26, as confirmed by the network, drew some unwanted scrutiny on the writers and creative team of the show. SVU's veteran writer, Julie Martin and executive producer Rick Eid spearheaded the plot development of this episode about a politician (Donald Trump) who allegedly groped and committed sexual misconduct upon several women.

Back in September, Eid already announced that they are planning to center their next episode upon a crass talking politician who's got big ambitions. Needless to say, just days after the Trump audio scandal, where presidential aspirant Donald Trump made some lewd comments about women in general and how his status as a member of the crème de la crème of society to force himself upon them, NBC confirmed that the latest episode will be Trump inspired.

The audio scandal drew a bevy of reactions from high-profile names of both political and entertainment world. Controversy lead other GOP politicians to shun and denounce their association of Trump, some even went on to urge him to step down from the candidacy.

The original plot and script of "Law and Order: SVU" has also gone some major revisions and editing so as not to be biased and be fair to all parties involved. Actor Gary Cole will play the major role of a wealthy politician (Trump) who is eyeing the highest seat of the country whose reputation took a shredding when he was accused by several women of sexual misconduct.

Although the creative team did not veer away too far, a major change raised some eyebrows. Episode airing date also underwent major shuffling because of political motivation "talks" before settling on the 26th of October, just two weeks before election day on November 8. Stars like Peter Gallagher, Currie Graham, Meredith Travers and Bianca Amato will also take part on the episode.

Just like the title of the incoming episode, will the ripped reputation of presidential aspirant Donald Trump of GOP still make it to the Whitehouse seat after taking some serious hits during his latest incursion? Only the people tell he'll still be "Unstoppable."
