Leading Christian Music Portal Gets Face-Lift, Expands Base

One of the nation’s largest and most extensive sources of Christian music has launched a revamped version of its website in an effort to better serve its audience and rise up to new levels.

After the re-launching of BREATHEcast.com Monday, the already vast online music and media library found in the music portal now includes new sections to enhance availability of music news and keep Christians informed about recent trends.

“BREATHEcast is always making efforts to have more music and video available to our viewers, and we felt that now was the time to push that to the next level,” said Justin Camacho, director of the San Francisco-based organization. “We’ve added some new contents as well as improved the current ones, and we hope that the new site can serve our audience in a much greater way, to the glory of God.”

BREATHEcast.com has housed a variety of music media since its debut launch in 2004 including radio, news, interviews, video, and more. The music portal has covered multiple music styles including contemporary, rock, worship, gospel, urban, and country.

The newly launched version hopes to expand on this already large base, encompassing more from each music genre. In addition, BREATHEcast hopes to make its existing functions easier to use while increasing site navigation ease.

The latest sections contain online shopping, album reviews, expanded content search capability, and a brand new section entitled “BREATHE Sessions,” which will feature a weekly full album stream from each of the genres represented on BREATHEcast.com.

“It’s been great networking with the different labels in putting together BREATHE Sessions,” commented Camacho. “We look forward to BREATHE Sessions becoming the premier showcase for the best upcoming and new releases in Christian music.”

BREATHEcast is an active member of the Gospel Music Association (GMA) and, according to the organization’s director, is “dedicated to the expansion of God’s Kingdom through the medium of music and entertainment.”
