REUTERS/Danny MoloshokLeAnn Rimes and Eddie CibrianLeAnn Rimes recently opened up about her ongoing feud with Brandi Glanville and the troubled singer has accused the reality TV star of deliberately engaging in Twitter feuds to further her career.
Rimes, 30, who is married to actor Eddie Cibrian, has been embroiled in an ongoing feud with Glanville, Cibrian's former wife, since admitting to having an affair with him while he was still married to the former model, 39. However the country music singer, who has been blasted as a "home wrecker" by critics, claims that her Twitter feuds with Glanville are "one sided."
"It's a very one-sided war," Rimes recently told "Entertainment Tonight." "Actually, it's funny... I write things sometimes that I end up erasing because I would just need to write it to get it out. And then I'm like, 'I really should not post that.' So at least I have a filter."
In their most recent Twitter feud Rimes, who Glanville claims is an "over-bearing" step mother to her and Cibrian's two sons, tweeted a message that did not sit well with the "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star, according to The Huffington Post.
"Flying out with my boys in a few hrs," Rimes tweeted with reference to Glanville's son's and Cibrian.
"Someone is trying 2 get under my skin by calling MY children 'her boys'. Sooo transparent!" an enraged Glanville tweeted shortly after. "They R MY boys, Eddie's Boys and ur step-sons…4 now."
Rimes insists that her questionable tweets are not intentionally malicious and claims Glanville uses them to draw attention to herself.
"The transparency is what's being used to actually continue her career with that tweet," Rimes told "Entertainment Tonight" host Nancy O'Dell adding "that's the transparency for me. Sorry, if you want to be real honest, I'll be real honest. It's pretty ridiculous."
During the candid interview Rimes also admitted that she worries that Cibrian will cheat on her because he cheated with her on Glanville.
"I would be ignorant to say, and everyone else would think I am a liar if I didn't say yes, and I have at times," Rimes said before admitting that he too has the same concerns about her.
