LeAnn Rimes Pills Left Out, Making Stepson Sick? Singer Denies Laxative Claim

Leann Rimes has been accused making her 9-year-old stepson ill by leaving laxatives lying around the house. The singer however, has denied all claims.

Brandi Glanville accused Rimes of leaving laxatives lying around the house and making one of her sons ill during a recent interview in which she said Rimes is not "fit" to be around her children.

"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star has been opposed to Rimes since discovering that her then-husband, Eddie Cibrian, was having an affair with the former country star. The affair eventually led to the divorce between Glanville and Cibrian, before Cibrian married Rimes, who also divorced after the affair.

Now however a battle has ensued, with Glanville charging that Rimes is not a good role model to have around her children.

"I, unfortunately, don't find her to be stable and I don't want her around my kids when Eddie's not there- or at least the nanny, his parents, someone," Glanville said during a US Weekly interview.

Glanville also went on to accuse Rimes of contributing to her son's recent illness.

"Mason, my eldest, ate some of Le's candies and got extremely ill. And Le's candies are laxatives. It was a big f------ deal for me, and I lost my mind," she said. "She has one in every purse. Mason found one on the floor and thought it was a Skittle!"

Glanville argued that her children should not be left alone with Rimes.

"These are my children and I don't want this unstable person around them when she's alone," the reality star added.

But Cibrian has a different perspective and suggested that his ex-wife should be working harder to get along with the children's new "bonus mom."

"My wife, LeAnn, continues to be a loving and positive influence on the lives of my sons. They are without a doubt lucky to have her. The love they have for their 'bonus mom' continues to grow each day as we navigate the changes to our family; a fact that Brandi cannot argue as she herself has stated as much," Cibrian said in a statement to Us Weekly.

"If my ex-wife truly cared about the welfare of our sons, she would stop the constant bashing on an important person in their lives and focus on productive co-parenting to make our blended family the strongest it can be. And she would do so privately," he added.
