Lebron James Facebook Woes: 'Been in the Spotlight Since I Was 15'

Lebron James has officially released a Facebook post that would make anyone "unfriend" him if he wasn't so famous, as per his complaint.

The Miami Heat player has a hard time, having a "good time." Every time he attempts to go out, he finds himself in the "spotlight," which is apparently exasperating.

"Man it's hard to go out and have a good time these days!" the NBA player complained on his Facebook page. "It's cool though, it's part of my life."

James earns an impressive $16 million a year from his contract with the Miami Heat. That number pales in comparison to the amount that the player earns from endorsements thanks to those same fans and media. His total salary with endorsements included is an estimated $45 million a year, according to Celebrity Net Worth.

Fans won't have to worry about James going under that radar anytime soon. He is willing to tolerate the burden of fame so he can continue to be an "inspiration" to the youth.

"Wouldn't change anything (just saying). Been in the spotlight since I was 15. Sometimes u just wanna STOP!!" the player said in a Facebook post on Sunday. "But I refuse cause I have a commitment to the youth to inspire them!! That will keep me pushing forward and focused alone."

While some gave the player a hard time about post his post, most of his fans responded with full support.

"It is wonderful he thinks about the youth!" said one fan.

"I love him more and more!!!" said another.

James was previously named by Forbes as one of the world's most influential athletes. He is an active supporter of the Boys & Girls Club of America, Children's Defense Fund, and ONEXONE. The player has also established his own charity foundation called the LeBron James Family Foundation.
