Lecrae 'Church Clothes 2' Release Date Scheduled for Nov. 7; Album Art Leaked

Lecrae's Church Clothes 2 mixtape release date is scheduled for Nov. 7, and the rapper recently leaked the cover art for the new project that follows up the original Church Clothes that was released in 2012.

He also performed the first single from the album titled "I'm Turnt" on BET's 106 & Park last week. Church Clothes 2 is the precursor to the rapper's next solo album, which should be released sometime during 2014. He has not announced a title for that project yet, but that information should be available after the mixtape is released.

The tape will feature well-known producers and artists such as Boi-1da, David Banner and Paul Wall. Reach Record label mates such as Tedashii, Andy Mineo and Derek Minor will make an appearance as well.

Lecrae is also rumored to be working on a compilation album with his Reach Records label mates, better known as the 116 Clique. Fellow Reach rapper Andy Mineo stated that a new record from them dropping soon might be a possibility in a recent video chat with Rapzilla.com.

"There have been some talks about it, but … we're just going to keep you guessing," he said.

Along with his solo projects, Lecrae released three albums with the 116 Clique including 2005's The Compilation Album, 2007's 13 Letters, and 2011's Man Up. They also released an EP in 2007 titled Amped.

Lecrae's last solo album Gravity was released in Sept. of 2012 and sold 72,000 units in its first week. It also debuted at No.1 on the Christian, Gospel, Independent, and Rap Album charts. The rapper made a successful entry into the mainstream with the album and the original Church Clothes mixtape.
