The company has gained much of its notoriety following the release of its controversial game, “Left Behind: Eternal Forces,” in 2006. In the real-time strategy game, players are placed in a post-rapture world where most Christians have already been transported to heaven. The people that have been “left behind” on earth must choose whether or not to join or combat the Antichrist.

While some applauded the game, other Christian and non-Christian groups alike criticized the content. Some Christians argued that it contained too much violence while liberal groups complained that it glorified religious violence against non-Christians.

The new website boasts easy accessibility and purchasing, including international shipping.

According to Left Behind Games Inc., their mission is to “become the world's leading independent developer and publisher of quality interactive entertainment products that perpetuate positive values and appeal to mainstream, inspirational and gamer audiences.”
