'Legends of Tomorrow' Season 3 Spoilers: Show's Newest Heroine to Appear in Episode 3

Before "Legends of Tomorrow" season 3 started airing, it was already confirmed that a new character named Zari Adrianna Tomaz will be introduced in the series. She will be played by "American Odyssey" actress Tala Ashe.

Entertainment Weekly recently revealed the first look at Ashe's character in "Legends of Tomorrow," in which she is set to appear in the current season's third episode.

The new images suggest that Zari is going to be a tough one. She is shown investigating a scene, with Ray Palmer (Brandon Routh) in his Atom suit standing in the background. There is also another image that shows Zari meeting the other members of the Legends, composed of Sara Lance (Caity Lotz), Jefferson Jackson (Franz Drameh), and Mick Rory (Dominic Purcell).

The 33-year-old Iranian actress is set to make her first appearance on season 3 episode 3 titled "Zari." According to reports, this new character is going to challenge the Legends, especially in terms of technology. She will be working with the other tech genius, Ray, and she will reportedly push him further to improve his inventions.

On the other hand, spoilers also say that Zari and the Legends may not always meet eye to eye when it comes to their ways of altering history.

Meanwhile, before viewers meet Zari, the series is going to continue with an episode titled "Freakshow" this week, wherein the Legends will be time-traveling back to 1870 to pay a visit to P.T. Barnum's (Billy Zane) famous circus.

According to the synopsis for this week's episode, they will be there to fix an anachronism. However, Ray and Nate (Nick Zano) are going to accidentally free a saber-toothed tiger, creating a much bigger problem for the team.

The said episode will also feature the much-awaited reunion between Zane and Victor Garber, who plays Martin Stein in the series. They previously starred in the famous movie "Titanic" together.

"Legends of Tomorrow" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
