The three "LEGO Dimensions" expansion packs are set to add new characters, vehicles, weapons, and universes to expand the game. These packs include the "LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack", "Excalibur Batman Fun Pack", and the "Knight Rider Fun Pack".

'LEGO Batman Movie Pack'

As the name implies, the "LEGO Batman Movie Story Pack" will be largely based on the film which stars Ben Affleck. It will feature six new levels for "LEGO Dimensions" that are packed with puzzles and a new storyline. It will also include mini figures of Batgirl and Robin.

Batgirl comes fully-equipped with her batarang (bat boomerang), and with the additional abilities of glide and stealth. Robin will feature his superb diving skills and the ability to transform into Nightwing. The two additional characters will give access to the all-new "LEGO Batman Movie Adventure World", where up to four players could compete in the Battle Arena.

The expansion pack also brings the new 3-in-1 Batwing to "LEGO Dimensions". This vehicle can then be rebuilt into the Black Thunder or the Bat-Tank, depending on the conditions.

'Excalibur Batman Fun Pack'

The "Excalibur Batman Fun Pack" also brings the "LEGO Batman Movie Adventure World" and the Battle Arena to "LEGO Dimensions". It then comes with a Batman minifigure and a 3-in-1 Bionic Steed. The Bionic Steed can be rebuilt into the Ultrabat and the Bat-Raptor, which would provide the player more gameplay abilities.

This expansion pack will be first available in North America at Target. The first two expansion packs are part of the promotional campaign for the upcoming "The LEGO Batman Movie."

'Knight Rider Fun Pack'

Last but not the least, "LEGO Dimensions" will bring in the iconic 80's TV show to the game in the form of the "Knight Rider Fun Pack". It will come with a minifigure of Michael Knight, and a 3-in-1 buildable K.I.T.T. that may be rebuilt into a K.I.T.T. Jet or the Goliath Armored Semi.

In this expansion pack, Michael Knight has the responsibility of taking down the opponents, hacking terminals, and uncovering secrets. These are all done via solving different puzzles in "LEGO Dimensions". Players can also ride the K.I.T.T. vehicle to fight crime.

Per usual, this also brings the "Knight Rider Adventure World" and its tie-in Battle Arena. It will be released first to GameStop in North America.
