Les Miles Rant Becomes Internet Sensation and Epic Soundbite (VIDEO)

During the post-game press conference after Louisiana State University beat Ole Miss, LSU head Coach Les Miles went on an impassioned, if not eccentric, rant that has since gone viral.

During a weekend in which both the top two teams in the nation were beaten, LSU kept its Bowl hope alive with a gutsy performance against an Ole Miss team that looked to be on its way to a sure victory.

The actual game was a classical college football match-up, with both teams able to out maneuver the opposing defense during a game where special teams would decide the outcome.

"Wasn't that 89 yards, the Billy Cannon route? Wasn't that really the same route? Honest to Pete, somebody needs to check that out, where the route was, where the cuts were, that sideline period, right? 'Cause 89 the same time. Was it the same night? Is this Halloween? I was on a roll there for a while. Damn," said Miles during the post-game press conference in reference to Odell Beckham's 89-yard punt return.

During the epic rant, Miles cursed, which he immediately apologized for and continued on praising his players for their resolve and for showing their true character not only individually, but as a team as well.

"Spectacular group of men. You go find them, you throw your arms around them, you give them a big kiss on the mouth, if you're a girl … wow! What a game, are you kidding me?"

Michael Bonnette, LSU's sports information director, revealed that since then his office has been inundated with calls and emails by fans showing their appreciation for a head coach that is so devoted to his football team and also his colorful language.

"He regrets saying that word, obviously," Bonnette said. "But he already made his apology," Bonnette said in a statement.
