LG Escape 2 Specs, Pricing, Details: Unannounced LG Escape Reiteration Found on AT&T Website

Ahead of its official unveiling, the sequel to the LG Escape smartphone, the LG Escape 2, has been spotted currently listed on AT&T's website.

The new Escape2 features some defining attributes of its more expensive cousin, the LG G4, as it is reported to have a body that's got a slight curve. It also got a rear key design that houses the phone's volume and the power/lock button.

In terms of specs, Escape 2 carries a 4.7 inch 1280 x 720 IPS display, an 8-megapixel rear camera coupled with a 1 MP front snapper, an 8GB of internal storage which can be further upgraded via a microSD card slot, and a 4G LTE connectivity feature.

Under the hood, the Escape 2 runs using a Qualcomm 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor coupled with 1 GB of RAM. The unit is powered using the removable 2100mAh battery.

The unit operates with Google's new Android 5.0 Lollipop, out of the box, and features a custom LG user interface that has a Glance View which allows users to check their notifications discretely. There's also the Gesture Shot which give users the convenience of taking selfies by ways of gesture.

There's also the QSlide multi-tasking feature where two apps can operate at the same time. The Quick Memo+, meanwhile, allows users to take quick memos while handling calls.

As for pricing, the LG Escape 2 is now available in AT&T at $179.99. A two-year contract with the mobile carrier would have the unit at a 99 cent.

The AT&T Next 12 Plan meanwhile, requires signee to pay $9 a month for 20 months. AT&T Next 18 Plan: 24 monthly payment at $7.50 and the AT&T Next 24 Plan is locked 30 months for $6 each.
