LG G4 Specs Release Date Rumors Round Up

LG, the Korean smartphone manufacturer, may bring a surprise for consumers this spring. Rumors are already circulating on the web that its next smartphone, the LG G4, may be released anytime within the next two months.

Unlike other phone companies, LG's release patterns are considered "a little more sporadic," according to an Android Pit report. Predicting when they will release the LG G4 is therefore problematic. However, the report hazards a guess that the phone will hit the market at the end of April.

Designs were recently leaked online showing the LG G4 with a "slightly curved design not unlike the LG G Flex 2." In terms of price point, the prediction is the LG G4 will have the same price as the LG G3 when it was released. It will cost around $600 at least.

Specifications-wise, the report says that the LG G4 will likely sport a QHD screen, with a size at least 5.1 or 5.2 inches. It is not likely to go up to 5.5 inches because of its rear-button set-up. The report also cited that LG may not try to outdo competitor Samsung in terms of display and screen size. Under its hood, it will reportedly be powered by an octacore Snapdragron 810 or 808 processor at 3GHz, quite an improvement the 801 Snapdragon of the LG G3. Its variants for internal storage and RAM will be 3G RAM with 32G internal storage or 4G RAM with 64G internal storage.

The new phone's camera will be a 20MP rear facing camera and a 5.1MP front facing camera. Battery power will either be 3500mAh or 4000mAh.

Lastly, the phone's operating system may be the latest Android Lollipop. It will also be good news for LG G4 users if the company decides to continue what it did with LG G3. The G3 had a unique function that lets the user eliminate some of the default applications which are pre-installed in Android devices. This was well received by G3 users and because of this, it will serve LG well if they have this available on the G4 as well.
