LG G Stylo Release Date, Specs Rumors: LG Launches New 7-Inch Phablet With Stylus
Less than a week from the LG G4's launch, the company has unveiled a new phablet with a stylus to succeed the LG G3 stylus from 2014.
After rumors circulated LG was planning to release a new stylus-toting phablet, the company finally revealed its new 7-inch LG G Stylo that comes with a stylus, and is likely to be distributed in Asian markets only, given the already crowded tablet and phablet markets.
However, given the G3 Stylus' popularity in South America, the G Stylo may make its way to that market, as well.

The G Stylo presents a slight upgrade from its predecessor, with is Android Lollipop OS, but is not considered a product likely to eat up on the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 market.
According to Techno Buffalo, the phablet, said to be a mid-range device, is set to be released at a "reasonable price" and may be made available to the public at the same time as the LG G4, giving consumers an option between the upcoming flagship smartphone and a stylus-equipped phablet.
A follow-up of the South Korean electronics manufacturer's G3 Stylus launched in November last year, the G Stylo features a larger than usual 5.7-inch 1280 x 720-pixel display, with a 64-bit 1.2 Ghz Snapdragon quad core 410 processor under the hood. It has 1.5GB of RAM and a 8GB storage capacity, with an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter, all of which rub on a 3000mAh battery.
The new phablet will also include WiFi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.1, 4G LTE support, GPS, a microSC support of up to 2TB, and comes in white and titanium color variants.
LG has yet to release the phablet's official launch date and its retail price point.
