'Limitless' Season 1 Recap, Spoilers: Brian's Loyalty Gets Tested
Brian Finch proves to be capable of doing multiple things at a given time. Of course, he can only do so when he is on NZT.
On the last episode of "Limitless," Finch was unexpectedly reunited with an old flame, Shauna. While catching up with the ex, the FBI consultant is trying to solve a murder case involving the death of a former operative.
With the pill, the sky is the limit for what information Brian can process inside his head. However, the situation with Shauna could be an exception. Although he is quite happy to be reunited with the girl, he begins to ask himself if Shauna's renewed affection would remain if the pill's effect wears off.

Exhausting all other options, he sought some advice from Rebecca about the matter. The FBI agent told Finch that if Shauna is only interested on him because of the amazing things he can do and not because of what he is, then he is not worth his time.
Along these events involving the matters of the heart, the agency is faced with a case that forced them to work with the New York City Police Department. After going over through the countless details, Brian, Rebecca and Spelman discovered that it is actually the NYPD officers who were behind the crime.
Near the end of the episode, a certain Mr. Sands appeared and introduced himself as Eddie Mora's fixer. He told Brian to do exactly what his employer has to say. Otherwise those close to Brian will get hurt. The genius decided to break up with Shauna.
In this week's episode titled "Page 44," Brian will find himself in a quite pressing situation when Mr. Sands told him to steal the FBI's secret files about NZT.
The details seem to suggest that Senator Mora really wanted Brian to have NZT and be instated within the agency for that purpose of eradicating information about the brain-enhancing drug.
"Limitless" Season 1 airs this Tuesday, October 13, at 10 p.m. on CBS.
