Lindsay Lohan arrived late on the "Glee" set for her 15 minutes of television musical fame due to a late night of partying. The new stunt has prompted some to further question the star's recovery.
Lohan has been complimented for getting her act together and even appeared on "Saturday Night Live" to mock her old ways. At some point it appeared that the star was finally recovering after years of dealing with court dealings due to drunken driving incidents and drug abuse rumors.
One impressive move on the former Disney actress' part was securing a part on the television hit musical series "Glee." However, while the show could mark a great comeback opportunity for the struggling star, it appears that perhaps Lohan didn't take the opportunity as seriously as she should have.
The star showed up late Monday morning on the show's set, reportedly after a night full of partying.
"Gonna be a long day!! Some ppl show up late and just throw a wrench in things. Not cool! I'd rather be an hour early (I was) than 5 minutes late!" Dot Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste, posted on Twitter.
It was later confirmed by TMZ that Lohan was the missing piece.
Lohan, though, was attending a paid gig. Star offered the actress a paycheck to show up at the magazine-sponsored event, which took place Tuesday night at West Hollywood's The Standard Hotel.
Show director Eric Stoltz excused Lohan's tardy behavior, suggesting that she had been "very professional" throughout the week.
"We're told she nailed her lines and was very polite to cast and crew," TMZ reported, adding that she had been on time for other scenes in which she played a larger role, and that her tardiness had not held up production.
