Lindsay Lohan has reportedly resumed her partying ways, and father Michael is so concerned that he worked with her team of handlers in order to hold an intervention for the actress. Unfortunately, it failed, and now Michael is investigating whether conservatorship could be an effect means to help his daughter.

"I have seen the empty bottles and even cocaine in her room at Chateau," Michael emailed Lindsay's team. "She is again, taking pills to keep her up and to sleep (Adderall)!! I even know that she was drinking during work as far back as Liz and Dick!"

"I am asking you to PLEASE PLEASE find a way to get her to LA toward the end of the first week of October or the beginning of the second so we can do an intervention and FINALLY end this madness!" the email continued, according to TMZ.

Unfortunately the intervention did not succeed, according to reports, and now Michael is seeking conservatorship over his daughter's affairs in an effort to gain control and help his daughter. Friends, including those who work closely with Lindsay, have confirmed that she is headed down a dangerous path.

"People who party with Lindsay have confirmed her excessive partying and getting wasted. They act one way to her face but have been telling different stories behind her back. Even some of them who have enabled her partying have come clean and revealed what's really going on," a source told Radar Online.

"Michael told the lawyer the first thing he will do if there's a conservatorship is convince the conservator to send Lindsay to rehab, without the influence of other people in her life," according to TMZ.

It would be a case similar to that of another star, Britney Spears, whose own father is her conservator. A judge ordered Spears to be placed under conservatorship during a rough time in her life, and slowly she has been gaining some control back. Her fiancé, Jason Trawick, has been named a co-conservator in light of their engagement.

Lindsay has responded to her father's claims and requests by stating that she will immediately file a restraining order against him in order to protect herself and her assets.
