Lindsey Vonn Gushes About Tiger Woods, Elin Nordegren Gives Couple Blessing?

Elin Nordegren has reportedly given her blessing to Tiger Woods and his girlfriend, Lindsey Vonn, despite previous reports claiming the former model does not approve of their relationship.

The Swedish former model, 33, infamously divorced Woods in 2010 after six years of marriage due to a cheating scandal and the pair, who share two children, have both since moved on. In recent months various tabloids claimed Nordegren did not like Vonn, who is a 28-year-old Olympic skier, but sources claim this is far from true.

"[Elin] really likes Lindsey and thinks she is a very good influence on Tiger," a source told The New York Post, adding that the mother of two believes that Woods "seems happy with Lindsey, and she gets on well with their children."

Vonn, who is often photographed supporting Woods, 37, at his golfing events and bonding with his children, recently gushed about their relationship. The pair reportedly began dating after meeting at a charity event in 2012.

"We immediately clicked, you know? It was just one of those things. We talked a lot, corresponded a lot, and he was a good friend who was always there. And then it became more," Vonn told the latest issue of Vogue magazine.

Vonn was previously married to former U.S. Ski Team athlete, Thomas Vonn, but they divorced in 2011 after four years of marriage.

"It's amazing. Life changes very quickly, in a very positive way, if you let it," she said. "I am a little bit of a late bloomer. I'm delayed. Having a delayed reaction here! But I figured it out."

While Vonn and Woods appear to be growing more serious, she revealed that marriage is not in the cards for them.

"No, thanks! I am definitely not getting married. To anyone," she said. "It's very hard for me to relate to someone who doesn't do sports at a high level. That part is necessary. But to have business in the relationship is very difficult. It definitely did not work for me, and I would not recommend it."
