Lindsey Vonn, Tiger Woods 'Getting Close'? Couple Meeting Each Other's Families

Are Lindsey Vonn and Tiger Woods Hollywood's latest "it" couple? Reports state that the two athletes have been spending plenty of time together, have met each other's family, and, in the wake of Vonn's recent injury, are even closer.

During a recent competition in Austria, Vonn fell and tore the ligaments in her knee; she was immediately airlifted to a hospital where she had surgery to repair the ligaments. Woods sent his own private jet to bring her back home from Austria last week.

The two met at a charity event in April 2012 but their relationship didn't turn intimate until later that fall. It was a slow development that took the athletic and Hollywood worlds by storm. Woods was coming off of a high-profile divorce from Elin Nordegren, and Vonn just finalized her divorce from Thomas Vonn last month, Radar Online reported.

Woods has introduced his children to Vonn; her brother gave them private ski lessons. He also shares custody with Nordegren and decided it was time to acquaint them with Vonn's family, according to reports. The couple has been together but until recently kept it under the radar.

Vonn's accident and Woods' behavior fueled speculation that the two were an item and led Vonn's brother to speak to Us Weekly. As she recovers, it remains to be seen whether Woods will help take care of her and ensure she has a speedy recovery. But don't expect them to settle into anything permanently just yet.

"She is pretty carefree," a source told Us Weekly.

Right now she is focused on healing her leg.

"Success! Surgery went very well yesterday and I'm recovering at home in Vail with my family. I want to sincerely thank everyone for their well wishes these last few days. It's going to be a long and hard road back but I will be back!!" Vonn posted on Facebook.

No word yet on whether Woods has visited Vonn since she returned home.
