'Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time' News: More Details About New Dungeons and Bosses Revealed

Recently revealed bosses possess their own unique traits

Upon first glance, "Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time" may seem like a light-hearted romp featuring young students immersed in a world full of magic. However, there are dangers lurking in the world, and some of them will pose a threat to the players themselves.

While in control of protagonist Akko and her friends, players will have to go through some locations that are not exactly the safest around.

One such location is known as the Shaula Desert, and after spending a bit of time here, players will quickly find that there is someone who does not want them around any longer.

Detailed just recently by the developers, players will have to face off with the boss known only as the Mother Ant as they make their way through the Shaula Desert. The Mother Ant is actually quite a massive enemy, and beyond that, she also possesses some special abilities that can make things very difficult for Akko and her friends. The ants that come from Mother Ant's eggs are trained to seek out and attack those who enter the desert, so players will have to deal with them as well.

Also set to be featured in "Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time" is the Gienna Snow Field. This arctic area can be a challenging one to navigate as the icy conditions can apparently lead to players losing control of the characters onscreen, Gematsu reported.

If players manage to make it through the snow field, they may run into the Divine Dragon - a creature with mystical powers that allow it to see through time.

There are more bosses expected to show up in the game, and it will be up to the players to figure out what to do once they appear.

"Little Witch Academia: Chamber of Time" is expected to be released in North America early next year.
