Liverpool vs Basel Live Stream: Watch Champions League Football Online

Liverpool will play FC Basel on Tuesday night in massive Champions League game from Anfield. For the Reds it is plain and simple, they must win or they are out of the Champions League for another season. Today's big game will kick off at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).

This is the final group game for both teams, and coming into the game Basel occupy the all-important second spot for qualification into the knock out rounds. Basel have 6 points, but Liverpool are third with 4 points from their five games so far, which means if Liverpool win tonight they will leapfrog Basel into second with 7 points.

Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has said ahead of the game, "It will be a great night and it is up to us to get the job done. It is an opportunity for the players to qualify and make sure they write themselves into folklore."

He added, "In my time here we have had games that were deemed as must-win games and more times than not we have won them. We arrive into tomorrow night with great confidence that we can get the job done. We are only focusing on the positive result. We see it as an opportunity rather than a threat to anything we are doing this season."

Basel meanwhile will be traveling to Anfield knowing an away draw would put them through. That means they no doubt will be getting bodies behind the ball and doing all they can to upset the Liverpool players from moving forward. That means it may be extremely important for Liverpool to get an early goal to force Basel to open up more. If it gets to half time still at 0-0 you can imagine the frustrations and nervousness will settle in at Anfield and it could make for a very tense run in for the Reds.

Liverpool midfielder Joe Allen has said, "We are looking to draw inspiration from previous games. The support we are going to get tomorrow night is going to be a huge factor. We learnt a harsh lesson in the away match, we know what they are capable of but I think we have moved forward since that last game. Getting through the group stages is a dream of everyone at this football club. We have the ability and the talent to make that happen."
