Liverpool vs Norwich takes place on Saturday in the English Premier League with the Reds now desperate to get their first win of the season. The game kicks off at 10 a.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream (details below).
Liverpool have had a disastrous start to the new season and are already heavy outsiders for a Premier League title challenge, and a Champions League spot already looks in the balance.
The Reds have only managed to pick up 2 points from their opening 5 games, and are still without a win in the league this season.
Today they will be without suspended Jonjo Shelvey, but Daniel Agger could be back after his bruised knee suffered against Manchester United.
Norwich have much lower expectations for this season and will be delighted if they can just avoid relegation. They currently sit just one place above Liverpool in 17th place. Norwich so far have picked up just 3 points from their opening 5 games.
For both sides a win today would be the perfect antidote to their early season woes.
Norwich's Anthony Pilkington (back) and Sebastien Bassong (hamstring) both could make their comebacks, according to manager Chris Hughton. However, striker Harry Kane is out after suffering a suspected broken foot in their match against Doncaster in midweek.
Liverpool have shown flashes of good form this season. They will feel they should have won against Manchester City a month ago at Anfield, but were unable to cross the finish line, eventually gifting City an equalizer to finish the game at 2-2.
Last week against Manchester United, Liverpool played some good football and will feel disappointed to have lost that game in the end 2-1. Manager Brendan Rodgers will be hoping the Reds' players will take out their frustration against Norwich today.
