Liverpool will travel to the Madejski Stadium to face a Reading team still fighting relegation in the English Premier League.
Reading boss Nigel Adkins is still searching for his first win since taking over the club and got off to a bad start last week when the Royals fell 2-0 at home to Southampton.
The Royals have lost their last eight matches in all competitions and have not won a home match since February, dropping the team to the bottom of the league and eight points under the relegation line, which makes a drop to the Championship division all but certain.
Liverpool has displayed a goalscoring prowess lately, netting 18 goals in their last seven matches, which is a reflection of the year's work since Liverpool has recorded 549 shots in the Premier League this season.
The match is shaping up to be a one sided offensive display given that Reading have yet to keep a Premier League clean sheet this year coupled with the fact that Reading have scored a mere three goals in their last six matches.
It also does not bode well for the Royals given that Liverpool is second only to Manchester United in scoring away goals with 29 in 12 matches.
Liverpool will also have the added motivation as they are playing for a top four spot that would grant them qualification into next year's UEFA's Champions League.
But it may be closer than experts predict since recent fixtures between these two sides have been very close with a single goal separating the sides in three of their last four meetings.
Kick-off for the match is at 10:00 a.m. ET and can be watched online here.
