Meanwhile, news of the fifth season has yet to be revealed. However, it was reported that Ally Walker insisted that the series will have another season. As reported by Parade, Walker will reprise her role as Dr. Donna Sue Monahan.

It was not only Walker who was eager to continue with another season, other actors of the series reportedly expressed their enthusiasm for season 5. Adam Bartley, who took on the role of "The Ferg," recently spoke out about the series. He said that moving onto Netflix was the right choice for the series. "Now, we can kind of do whatever we want with the time. It's an open platform. Netflix is so great about how they promote their shows and put them out for Golden Globes and Emmys. With our show, we make movies every episode so it's a big undertaking. Netflix was the right suitor financially and in every way."

With that, it was reported that fans of the series decided to hold an event yesterday, Oct. 7, in order to fight for the show's renewal. They had the support of Netflix and Longmire's Facebook pages when their posts were shared, encouraging fans to join the event.
