They rebounded against the St. Louis Blues and Nashville Predators but find themselves again in a slump after losses to the Chicago Blackhawks and Jets.
With three matches remaining in their calendar, points are important and few bigger than this against the Kings.
Meanwhile, Los Angeles still have four matches left before the regular season ends and it seems they are getting their legs under them with back-to-back wins over the Edmonton Oilers and Avalanche.
After losing to the Minnesota Wild and Blackhawks, the Kings responded with eight goals at home against Edmonton and three against Colorado.
After their match against Vancouver, they still have Edmonton, the Flames and the San Jose Sharks.
The two teams have met four times this season, with Los Angeles taking the first three matches before Vancouver won last month. Two of the Kings' victories have come at the Rodgers Arena, including a big 4-0 shutout in their third meeting of the season.
