Los Angeles Lakers vs San Antonio Spurs takes place in the NBA Playoffs Round 1 Game 2 on Wednesday night, with the Lakers desperate to get back into the series following their poor display in Game 1. The game is scheduled to tip off at 9.30 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).

Without Kobe Bryant the LA Lakers looked distinctly blunt in offense in Game 1, and they will have to find a way to step up their game if they are going to compete and cause an upset against the Spurs in this series.

If Game 1 was anything to go by then this could be a long painful series for the Lakers, with the Spurs crushing Los Angeles 91-79 in a comprehensive win.

The Lakers will need a drastic improvement in their offensive play tonight. Throughout the season their offense was impressive, but that was with Bryant leading the way. With him out of the way they look worrying absent of ideas and creativity.

Meanwhile the Spurs left room to improve from their performance in Game 1. The Lakers defense was quite effective and the usually effective Spurs' offense shot just 38 percent.

The Lakers took away San Antonio's three-point shot, limiting the team to making just 7-of-22 attempts from beyond the arc. The Lakers will need to maintain that defense and improve their attack if they are to turn this series back around tonight.
