According to ACWS, Prince Philip is scheduled to watch the action-packed racing event at Portsmouth on July 22. The duke will be meeting the design and engineering team who built the boat of the Land Rover BAR, the representative of Britain in the ACWS. He is also expected to meet the British sailing team headed by Sir Ben Ainslie and watch them race on the water.

Moreover, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also confirmed their attendance on July 24, the final day of the prestigious sailing event. Just like Prince Philip, the royal couple will also visit the base of the Land Rover BAR team to check out their testing boat and meet the staff.

Prince William and Middleton will also join the spectators to witness that race action of the elite sailors from six different countries. After the race, the royal couple will spend some time with the ACWS teams and the children involved with "The 1851 Trust," the official charity of ACWS. They will also take part of the awarding ceremony.
