Louisville Cardinals vs Duke Blue Devils takes place in the NCAA 2013 tournament on Sunday in the final if the Elite 8 March Madness games taking place over this Easter weekend. The game is scheduled to tip off at 5.05 p.m. ET and can be watched online through free live stream (details below).
This is a battle of the top dogs, with No. 1 seeded Louisville taking on the No. 2 seeded Duke Blue Devils at the Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN.
The Cardinals have lived up to their No. 1 seed tag so far in this tournament, playing dominantly over their first three games. In defense they have kept it tight and pressured opposition into repeated turnovers . Meanwhile their offense has always looked capable of taking apart anything their come up against so far.
Russ Smith in particular has been fantastic in the past two games for Louisville. He has scored 31 points against No. 12 seeded Oregon Ducks, and 27 more against No. 9 seeded Colorado St. Rams.
Meanwhile, Duke have not smashed opposition quite as convincingly as Louisville has managed to, but they have still managed to win each game comfortably until now. One of the stand out parts of the Blue Devils' game has been their defense, and they have consistently shut down opposition offenses. Against No. 7 seeded Creighton Bluejays they held them to just 30 percent shooting, and against No. 3 seeded Michigan State Spartans they kept them down at 40 percent.
Offensively Seth Curry has been one of the star players for Duke, scoring an average of 24 points per game so far in the NCAA 2013.
This should be a very interesting match up between two of the best teams in the nation right now, with the winner set to face No. 9 seeded Wichita State Shockers in the Final Four.
