'Love and Hip Hop Hollywood': Premiere Show Recap and Review, Show Isn't 'Made Up,' Says Rapper Soulja Boy

VH1's top-rated reality series "Love & Hip Hop" now has its own West Coast spin-off which premiered earlier this week.

Like any reality show, first episode of the "L&HHH" introduces the viewers not only to the musicians but also the women who are tied or formerly linked with them. Here's some roundup on what happened on the premiere.

First off there's Teairra Mari, former Def Jam signee, who was found out to be upset with the demise of the relationship she shared with Ray-J -- but both said that they still adore each other.

Omarion, on the other hand, was doing well with his solo career after splitting from his group B2K. Together with R&B singer Apryl Jones for three years, they are now expecting a baby soon. Apparently, Omarion's mom, Miss Leslie, doesn't like Jones as she shows no interest about joining the couple in their sonogram appointment.

Soulja Boy, meanwhile, was seen hosting a party to celebrate his long-time on-and-off girlfriend Nia Riley's birthday. Not a stranger in the music world, Riley's father, Teddy Riley, was the legendary New Jack Swing producer and was responsible for bringing out Blackstreet and Rump Shaker.

In an interview during the Yahoo Music event, Soulja Boy says that everything on the show wasn't scripted.

"Ain't nothing made up, it's real," the 24-year-old artist said. "That's how it's going down out here in Hollywood."

Fizz, another B2K ex-member, hopes that the show could pave way for his plans on taking his career into the next level. Like Omarion, he doesn't want to be remembered as "just another part of the boy band." He has a son with Moniece, a business woman.

"Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" airs on VH1 every Monday at 8/7 c.
