Like Microsoft, Apple has been speculated to be waiting for Intel's Kaby Lake chips so they can put in their tablets. Both companies have been mum about the rumors and it is unknown if they will use the same processors for the MacBook Pro 2016 and the Surface Pro 5.

The MacBook Pro 2016 has also been rumored to come with USB-C Type ports instead of its old ones. This feature will also apply to all new-generation MacBooks, according to Mobile & Apps. As for the operating system, the MacBook Pro 2016 will allegedly have the Mac OS Sierra. Additionally, one of the biggest rumors regarding the device is the inclusion of their virtual assistant Siri.

Due to the lack of updates from Apple's end, there have been outrageous rumors about the MacBook Pro 2016, Headlines & Global News reports. It was rumored that the tablet will have an OLED bar and a Touch ID but experts have said that it may not happen.

Apple has recently created a new way to authenticate the user and that is by using the Apple Watch to login to their laptop. This might be used for the MacBook Pro 2016. Furthermore, the Watch may be the key to make transactions via Apple Pay and more so using the Touch ID may not be a good idea. The MacBook Pro 2016 is speculated to have a Lightning port as well but it is highly unlikely for Apple to make this move according to the outlet.
