Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2013 Route Map, NBC TV Start Time & Program Schedule

The Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2013 will take place on Thursday Nov. 28, 2013, and will see more than 3.5 million spectators line the New York City parade route to celebrate the holiday together. The Parade will be available to watch on TV on the NBC network from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. ET.

It is estimated that more than 50 million people will tune in on TV to the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade this year, which will be hosted by NBC Today show's Matt Lauer Al Roker and Savannah Guthrie.

This year the event will be the 87th version of the annual parade, and will commence at 77th Street and Central Park West at 9 a.m.

The parade route will then move down Central Park West to Columbus Circle before turning onto Central Park South and 6th Avenue.

The parade will then move straight down onto 6th Avenue past 59th down to 34th Street until it reaches Macy's Herald Square.

Organizers have said that about 8,000 people will be participating in the parade, manning the massive floats, balloons, balloonicles, bands, clowns, among other things as the parade works its way through the 2.5 mile route in Manhattan.

This year's lineup will see family favorites such as: Hello Kitty, Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Spider Man, Ronald McDonald, Pillsbury Doughboy, Pikachu, Buzz Lightyear, Smurf, Spongebob and more.

Giant baseballs, stars, pumpkins, and candy canes will be among the novelty balloons.

Other floats on offer will also include Santa's Sleigh, True Spirit of Thanksgiving, Winter Wonderland in Central Park, among others.

The line-up of performers for Macy's Thanksgiving Parade include Kellie Pickler, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Miss America 2014 Nina Davuluri, Cher Lloyd, Gavin Degraw, Fifth Harmony, Fall Out Boy, Kristen Chinoweth, Carrie Underwood, Florida Georgia Line and the Robertson Family from A&E's Duck Dynasty show.
