Mad Men Season 7 Episode 5 takes place on Sunday night with a new episode titled "The Runaways" set to air on the AMC network with a start time of 10 p.m. ET. The episode can be watched on TV or online through free live stream (details below).
The synopsis for tonight's episode states: "Stan accidentally shows up a superior. Peggy becomes Ginsbergs' troubleshooter. Harry finds a new ally. Don is paid a visitor from someone from his past"
There are now only three episodes remaining in Part 1 of Season 7, which it has already been confirmed, will be the final season of the hit AMC series.
Fans are eager to find out what will happen in the climax of the series, but creator Matthew Weiner has a tradition of not giving anything away about the plot of his stories. So the spoilers about what will happen to main characters Don Draper, Betty, Megan and Peggy have been few and far between.
Star John Slattery recently said, "It isn't to say he's going to give the audience what they want, but it's much more interesting to expect one thing and get the other," according to The Huffington Post.
He added, "That's why Matt's as good as he is. Because he knows what the audience wants- you know, Joan and Roger, that's not what he's necessarily interested in."
"I've stopped second-guessing," he said. "I think most of us on the show have stopped trying to figure out where it's going to go, because it never goes where you think it's going to go."
Weiner himself has said, "I'm going to be leaving these characters in a place where they belong and I'm trying to take Don on a journey that will help you understand something about him," according to NPR.
