Although there are already talks about a new iteration, "Madden NFL 17" still gets some love from EA Sports, which released a massive update for the game.

With a massive download size of 459 MB, update 10 includes much-needed fixes and tweaks to some of the most glaring issues in the game.

The huge patch also gets rid of the legacy issue in which the defensive linemen get a violation when the offense was using no huddle. The issues that cause several encroachment bugs from aligning and sliding the defense in pre-play have been addressed as well.

In line with this, the "Madden NFL 17" update also fixes the issue in which the free offensive linemen show no reaction or response to a nearby defender who just beat a block.

After the update 10, "Madden NFL 17" should no longer encounter the issue in which the ball bounces off the arms of the receivers when attempting RAC catches. That being said, fans will not have to worry about drops or tip picks.

Another change courtesy of the "Madden NFL 17" update 10 is that the quarterbacks will now be able to match tackles after throwing an interception.

EA Sports also made sure to get rid of the issue that makes the defenders invulnerable to being blocked. Additionally, update 10 also fixes pass block targeting issues.

There are also some important stability tweaks included in the patch. The complete patch notes for the "Madden NFL 17" update are detailed here.

In other news, "Madden NFL 17" will be added to the EA Access Vault on Friday, Feb. 24. Members of the program should be able to play the full version so long as their subscription remains active.
