Maddie Ziegler News: Dance Prodigy Leaving 'Dance Moms' after Season 6?

Reality star Maddie Ziegler may be planning to leave reality show "Dance Moms" after season 6, based on the latest rumors.

In the last few seasons of "Dance Moms," some dancers, such as Chloe Lukasiak and Brooke and Paige Hyland, have left the dance reality show. Now, rumor has it that Maddie Ziegler and her sister Mackenzie will also take a bow from the series, according to Inquisitr.

While "Dance Moms" has not yet confirmed Maddie's departure from the show, her family had reportedly told the cast about the plan during a taping. It is worth noting that she has been absent frequently in season 6 because of her other commitments outside of the show.

Among Maddie's projects are her music videos with singer Sia, the movie "The Book of Henry" with Naomi Watts, and an upcoming movie project with Sia. The reality star had previously mentioned that she is excited to enter the world of acting, the report relays.

The teen dance prodigy has recently appeared in an advertisement for the brand Capezio. The latest campaign, which was released on Tuesday, shows the black-clad dancer standing out from a group of pink-clad ballerinas, The Huffington Post reports.

In the video, the dancers are following a routine when Maddie breaks off from the group to showcase her own expressive dance. Toward the end of the ad, the other dancers are inspired to follow suit.

"Self expression in dance has always been so important to me, so I fell in love with the concept of this film," Maddie told the Post. "Hopefully it will remind young dancers everywhere that expressing yourself can be empowering, contagious and fun."

Meanwhile, the fate of "Dance Moms" is up in the air right now as dance coach Abby Lee Miller is currently embroiled in legal woes. If proven guilty in the fraud case filed against her, Miller could be fined and imprisoned for several years.

In season 6, Miller has been organizing a new team of young dancers in preparation for the possible departure of the older girls.

There are speculations that "Dance Moms" could be nearing its end even if Maddie Ziegler stays in the show. Fans will have to stay tuned to the show to find out what will happen next.
