Madonna photos have surfaced with the singer's body bruised in several places, stemming from constant rehearsals to prepare for her upcoming tour.
Madonna's photos of her bruises were posted by the singer herself with the album title "From tour rehearsals," leading many users and fans to believe that the 53-year-old singer was accidentally damaged in the pursuit of difficult dances moves or steps.
The first close picture is of a purplish contusion on Madonna's leg. "Bruises on my leg from rehearsal" was the caption, and the injury was met with an outpouring of support by fans.
"Ouch.. u gata [sic] take it more easy 'super diva'.. :(," posted Grace Munyon, a concerned Madonna fan.
Others were happy that Madonna was being bruised up in the name of impressing her fans, and shooting for the best concert possible.
"As you always do YOU ARE THE BEST!!! Thank U!!" wrote Fabi Coronel.
Other pictures, like the Material Girl's swollen lip and what she claims to be a "heart-shaped bruise" on her behind evoked similar responses from fans.
"Holy lick!" wrote David V of Madonna's mouth-filled close up shot. "You always give us your blood sweat and tears, and i hope you know we really do appreciate it!! See you in Toronto Lady!!!"
At the same time, it was firmly established that Madonna's upcoming tour has gained considerable attention worldwide; many of the users posting wrote in Spanish, Finnish, and a host of other languages.
Madonna's world tour will start May 29 in Tel Aviv, Israel, and won't come to the U.S. until August 28, where she will put on a show in Philadelphia. The tour should showcase music from her newest album, MDNA, which will be released March 26.
So far, MDNA has two singles, "Give Me All Your Luvin'"- which Madonna performed with Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. at the Super Bowl halftime show- and "Girl Gone Wild."
