Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal has been revealed to be six months pregnant, her publicist has confirmed today.

The Dark Knight actress will give birth to her second child with husband Peter Sarsgaard. They previously have had together a five-year-old daughter called Ramona.

Rumors about her pregnancy hit fever pitch over the Thanksgiving weekend after a close friend was quoted by “Life & Style” that she was six months pregnant. The friend close to the actress was quoted as saying: “Her bump is so big!”
Gyllenhaal has been seen with a noticeable baby bump over recent weeks, and in particular at the Rome Film Festival on Oct. 28 she appeared at the premiere of her new Victorian romantic comedy “Hysteria” with a protruding belly.
The friend also told how Maggie’s brother, actor Jake Gyllenhaal is delighted at the news. The source said, “Jake is so happy that she's pregnant again because he loves kids. Maggie's said that he's the best uncle and has done a lot of sweet things for her first child."
Maggie and husband Peter were married in 2009.
