"Maho-Yome," will reportedly consist of 24 30-second short episodes which will be released online on the same day as the weekly anime episodes. During a special screening event, titled "Triumphant Return," held on the same day at Marunouchi Picadilly in Tokyo, Japan, Atsumi Tanezaki, who does the voice of the main female character, Chise Hatori, talked about how she enjoyed the mini-animations shown in-between the episodes. The voice actress said that she found the short scenes cute and mentioned how placing them right before the official episodes helped one concentrate more on the subsequent serious narratives.

"Mahoutsukai no Yome" tells the story of a fifteen-year-old girl named Chise who was gifted with a special power, or magus, that gives her the ability to draw magic from her surroundings as well as from within herself. With nowhere else to go, she is forced to sell herself into slavery, and thus, she becomes both apprentice and bride to the mysterious half-fae, half-human being named Elias Ainsworth.

The series premieres on Saturday, Oct. 7, late night at 1:30 a.m. JST on Tokyo MX and late night at 3:38 a.m. JST on MBS. A new episode of the mini-animation short companion series, "Maho-Yome," will be available on the same day on the series' official Twitter page.

"Mahoutsukai no Yome" will also air on AT-X starting on Sunday, Oct. 8, at 9 p.m. JST. Information on other broadcast schedules and online resources can be found on the series' official site. Episodes will also be available in selected regions outside Japan via Crunchyroll.
