And while most teams only have two games left to play, Malaga are safe as they still have a game in hand and despite losing all of their games, the closest these teams can chase them is to come up short by a single point.
Despite that fact, expect Malaga to try and break their poor form at the moment as they have not won in their last five league games – with three draws coming against Espanyol, Granada and Rayo Vallecano and two losses against Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid.
On the other hand, it is a need for Levante to win their last three games to get a chance to stay in the Spanish La Liga next year.
They are the 20th in the table and are six points behind the other teams above them who are safe from the drop zone.
Levante still have nine points left to play for and they should do all they can with what they can control – win the nine points and hope that the other teams slip.
It has been tough for them as well as they have only won one in their last six league games but they can still make things right with great performances to close out the season.
