Malcolm Jamal Warner Splits From Regina King, Asks Her to Move Out
Malcolm Jamal Warner has split from his girlfriend of two years, Regina King. According to sources, Warner simply "wasn't feeling it anymore" and the two separated.
King is reportedly "brokenhearted" over the split, which came as a surprise to the single mother, Us Weekly reported. Warner asked King and her young son to move out of their home together. Fans are surprised at the news and have offered King their support and encouragement.
The stars were relatively quiet about their relationship when it first began but later opened up and shared what drew them to one another.

"Malcolm and I have a lot in common. We've both been child actors and were also blessed to be raised by incredible mothers who instilled good values in us. Things are maturing nicely," King told "Essence" magazine in 2011.
Both starred on immensely popular TV shows at a young age: Warner was the only son on "The Cosby Show," and King played the daughter of the lead character on "227." They grew up as friends and shared their experiences of being on TV at such a young age, which is most likely what made them reluctant to talk about their relationship later on.
"I believe the universe has a plan, and we probably wouldn't have been ready years ago. We both had to do whatever we had to do to be ready for each other now," King told "Parade" in 2012.
That included a divorce for King, who was married to Ian Alexander Sr. for 10 years. They divorced in 2007, but Warner has never been married or had any children.
"We like to protect what we have because it's very special and very precious," Warner told BET in 2011. "But I will say that it's a relationship that makes all the sense in the world."
King currently stars in TNT's "Southland," which has become a fan favorite. Warner tends to work behind-the-scenes on various projects.
