With only the top two teams moving on to the knockout stages of the European competition, Malmo FF should find a way to beat the heavily favoured Madrid squad in order to get a fighting chance.

They already faced one of the better teams in the group in PSG and the Swedish team lost 2-0. Angel Di Maria scored in the fourth minute of the game to give PSG the lead and Edinson Cavani doubled the lead in the 61st.

Malmo had a tough time getting their offense going as PSG dominated the game throughout. Hopefully, Malmo have adjusted and learned to make the most of their opportunities as they are set to face another giant in the competition.

That loss to PSG is the only defeat Malmo suffered in their last seven matches. That run of form should help them against Real Madrid.

However, it will be extremely tough as Madrid boast one of the best lineups in all of football.

Anchored by Cristiano Ronaldo, the Los Blancos are early favourites to win the entire competition.

They showed just how capable they were in their first UEFA Champions League game when they faced Shakhtar Donetsk at home.

Karim Benzema opened the scoring for the Spanish squad in the 30th minute before Cristiano Ronaldo went on a scoring tear.

He scored three goals in the second half, with his first two coming as penalty kicks in the 55th and 63rd minute.

The hat trick was complete with nine minutes left in normal time to help Madrid win 4-0.

Their form has also been impressive as they have not lost in their last nine matches across all competitions.
