In a recent episode of "Honey Boo Boo," Mama June was given a makeover to look like Marilyn Monroe.

"Here Comes Honey Boo Boo" reality star June Thompson, better known as Mama June, underwent a big transformation. During the most recent episode of the show, Mama June was dressed as Marilyn Monroe for Halloween.
The makeover was accomplished with the help of her three daughters, including of course the infamous Honey Boo Boo. The first step was hair and makeup. The three girls took to their mother's hair with bleach, attempting to turn her gray locks a platinum blonde.
Alana, better known as Honey Boo Boo, suggested that it was no easy task.
"Mama, all your bugs are jumpin' out your head," she said during the episode, while applying a strip of die.
Mama June explained that she had decided to dress up for Halloween this year in hopes of becoming a "new" more "dramatic" self. June said she chose blonde because she wanted to "be more like" her daughter, Honey Boo Boo.

"Sugar Bear" approved of the new, blonde strands after her first living room debut.
"Hubba bubba," he said. "You're a sexy mama now."
In a second debut, Mama June walked out wearing a white, Marilyn Monroe styled dress. But she is not a fan.
"I am not going out in this," she said. "This thing is too revealing."
She did however, state later during a TLC interview that she was enjoying her new blonde do. June appeared wearing her new hair straightened and cut shoulder-length.
