Manchester City take on Ajax in the Champions League on Wednesday with both teams desperate for their first win of the campaign so far. The match kicks off at 2.45 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream via Fox Soccer 2 Go (details below).

This is probably the most exciting group in the Champions League - with four national champions from four of the biggest footballing nations being drawn together; Real Madrid as Spanish champions, Manchester City as English Premier League champs, Ajax as Dutch winners, and Borussia Dortmund as German Bundesliga winners.

However, after the first two games Real Madrid will be most happy with two wins out of two. German Champs, Borussia Dortmund will also be satisfied with their four points - a good return from their first two games resulting in a win and a draw.

That leaves Manchester City and Ajax far from happy. City have just one point following their last gasp loss away to Real Madrid, where they threw away a 2-1 lead conceding two goals in the final minutes, as well as a lackluster home draw against Borussia Dortmund.

Ajax meanwhile are the basement club so far in this group with two losses from two, losing to Real 4-1 at home, and 1-0 away to Dortmund.

For this game City are without David Silva, who has not recovered from the hamstring injury he picked up playing for Spain against France last week. That makes way for James Milner to make his first appearance in the Champions League so far this season.

Meanwhile Jack Rodwell (hamstring), Javi Garcia (thigh) and defender Maicon (foot) are all also out injured, according to BBC Sport.

City manager Roberto Mancini has said, "It is always difficult. When you have four strikers like Mario [Balotelli], Sergio [Aguero], Carlos [Tevez] and Edin, you can't play them all."

"Dzeko was fantastic against West Brom, but we will decide tomorrow."
