Manchester United transfer rumors are picking up as the January transfer window is set to open in the English Premier League.
The latest rumors suggest that United boos Sir Alex Ferguson will be launching an 8 million pound big for Wilfried Zaha of Crystal Palace. Born in the Ivory Coast, Zaha made his debut for the England national team earlier this year in 2012.
Zaha is eligible to represent both the Ivory Coast and England. He was called up to the England Under 19 squad in February 2011 for their match against Germany, before being called up to the Under 21s in February 2012.
He made his debut in a 4–0 win against Belgium on February 29, assisting Henri Lansbury for the third goal.
On November 11, 2012, Zaha was called up to the senior team by England manager Roy Hodgson for a friendly match against Sweden on November 14. He came on as a substitute for fellow debutant Raheem Sterling in the 83rd minute.
In other Manchester Unites transfer rumors it has been reported by the UK's Sun newspaper that Real Madrid are lining up a 22 million pound summer bid for United goalkeeper David de eGa. Whether an official offer materializes is yet to be seen.
Elsewhere, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is likely to fail in his bid to steal away winger Nani from United. The Portuguese winger has been a constant threat down the wing for United over the past seasons and he would potentially be a huge loss if he was to go. However, it has been said that Sir Alex Ferguson would not allow him to leave, according to The Sunday Times. Especially the fact that it is their English Premier League London rivals, Arsenal, will also be a big reason not to let him go southwards.
